A special message from our CEO and Founder, Dr. Roy Rivera Jr.
"After working with communities and patients from all different backgrounds, I noticed a surprising disparity in the experience when it came to healthcare. Dr. Rivera blazed a new trail by developing inclusive rehabilitative care for the transgender community. Approached by a patient in transition, Dr. Rivera was asked what type of physical therapy could they do while recovering to continue normal life at home, including yard work, child care, and going to the gym.
"I looked at him and said, 'I don't really know, but I'll find out.'"
